At Based On A True Story (BOATS), we had the honor of bringing that vision to life. Through our collaboration, we transformed a concept into a cinematic narrative — one that embodies hope, heritage, and human potential.
About the Story
Legacy Ball represents the intersection of elegance, empowerment, and evolution. It’s a celebration that honors those who came before, recognizes those making impact now, and reminds everyone that legacy is not about arrival — it’s about becoming.
Working with Catherine, BOATS developed a short film that captures her vision before it became reality. The story moves from imagination to manifestation — showing that when intention meets courage, the impossible takes form.
From the first spark of an idea to the glow of the ballroom lights, Legacy Ball is a testament to the truth that your legacy is not what you leave behind, but what you awaken in others.
